We offer a wide range of unique offerings, small class sizes, a dedicated team trained in Structured Literacy, strong math knowledge, especially around the new curriculum, and are one of the first EnviroSchools in Otago.
We offer play-based learning in our New Entrant/Year 1 room in the afternoons and make the most of our teachers’ strengths across Visual Art, Physical Education, and technology.
Is your child turning 5 soon?
We offer 4 formal school visits prior to their first day. Antoinette, our New Entrant teacher, will contact you to arrange this and provide all the information you need. Our school visits run on Monday and build up over time. Eventually, your child will have a full day at school before they start. If Mondays don’t suit, we can arrange another day. Parents usually leave their children, but are welcome to stay for a while to help with settling in.
