Being a senior student in a rural school has many benefits, including leadership opportunities, community service, camps, and more.
We hold on tightly to our Tuakana/Teina relationship and foster it in several ways, from our Whānau classes and friendships to helping out at the Playcentre, which is on-site.
A highlight for Years 6-8 is Ski Camp, which we run every year. We attend Lake Ohau Ski Field and stay at the lodge there, making our way up in the mornings for lessons, and then spend the afternoons skiing.
